Football is a sport loved by all, I mean it is an extreme sport that is exciting, the fun or the adrenaline rush when your favourite team is about to score a goal is thrilling. it is also a sport that brings people together, but do you know that there are some downsides to it
Football viewing centers bring together diverse fans, united by their shared love for the game. You’ll find yourself surrounded by passionate supporters, forming instant connections and engaging in lively discussions about players, tactics, and memorable moments. The center’s obvious enthusiasm is contagious. The cooperative shouts, chants, and celebrations intensify the excitement of watching a sport, making even the most casual fan feel like they are a part of something truly spectacular.
Even while we like football-watching areas, we must admit that they aren’t always a perfect paradise of sports joy. Here are a few disadvantages that may arise from time to time:
Imagine a room full of people watching a match in a tight room, the smell alone will send you running for your life because there might not be good ventilation in the room. From sweat accumulation to the oozing smell of an overcrowded space, this might mess up your focus and vibe.
Violence!! Oh my god, violence is so common in football viewing centers to the extent that some might even throw fists at each other because of an argument that one team is better than the other. Some might even be listing the past accomplishments of their club to be spiteful to the other team, and this wittiness can trigger violence that most times leads to injury of the next person. Men aren’t the sanest of people in my opinion, and a room filled with tempered men never turns out right, there’s always a fight or an argument at the end of each game.
In a viewing center, you might want to take off your hearing aid if you wear one. It’s not easy if you live near a football viewing center because the shout alone can make someone move out of their house. Some people can shout, my god can shout. I don’t know if they have a machine in their mouth, their voices are nerve-racking. You will wish that you had a superpower that could simply mute some people for life. Imagine you had a meeting at work the next morning and you heard their voices, your day would be messed up before it even started. Let’s not even talk about the amount of saliva sharing that happens, funny how some viewing centers didn’t close during covid.
If there’s one thing viewing centers are popular for is the lack of environmental hygiene, complimenting the smell, the litter-packed and swept decor of these centres is usually an eye sore, and the people who frequent these places don’t seem to have a problem with it. Maybe they should increase entrance fees so that they can employ cleaning staff, how can you be watching a football match and there’s an old moi moi wrap on the floor, that place is a health hazard. But as they say, it’s the Akara shop that is close to the gutter that Sweet Pass.
