One of the OG ways of billing, take a picture of you looking sad and the caption “No one loves me”, this is usually click bait and all the people who would want to say you are wrong will enter your trap, but with this, you have to be very smart, you’ll need a sweet tongue to now convince them that the only legit way to show that they love you is to send you some stacks. Bonus points if you’re a hot person, you don’t even have to talk too much, they will use their hand to ask for your account details to send you money for “ice cream” so you’ll stop being sad. 

You can also take a screenshot of the item you want and caption it “I want oh <insert crying emoji> ), you can even add the price but I don’t advise that, someone trying to impress you would reply to it. Make sure you block your apps if not they’ll carry your matter to group chat and call you an online beggar.

Complain about life in their DM

Tactics! Come as sheep in wolf’s clothing, strike up a conversation about the current happenings in the world, and manipulate the dialogue to be about how you’re having it bad but not that bad. However, this is risky because the other party can overpower you in the battle of suffering and the whole movement will crash. Keep it short and remember to chip in words like “ shey you’ll not like to send me something” Words like this come off as a tease at first but it can ginger some to actually send you money especially when the conversation is sweet.

Hail them; “My oga oh”

Mostly used when guys vibe with each other, although this trick doesn’t really work as much as before, feeding someone’s ego is a way to get money from them, when you see that fresh guy you’ll start hailing him with “boss’ “hot boy” “na you oh” after a series of hailing and the person’s head swell that’s the best time to now sweep in with the billing. However, this is common among area boys and touts trying to bill one big boy in the area. You can find a more classy way of doing this if you are ashamed.

Be direct

There are many dimensions to this, if you need money for that purse outfit or gadget, just take a screenshot and send it to your friends and drop an emoji, and they’ll get the memo. Create a broadcast and send a message to your contacts, make it formal but funny, they will not even know when they are laughing and opening their bank app. Or just simply enter their DM or call and ask for money directly, there’s no shame in being truthful and honest, and if your friends love you, you wouldn’t feel shy to do so.
